Windows 8 Clean Installation Guide
Step 1: Prepare your system for Windows 8 Clean Installation
If your computer does not have DVD ROM; please attach external DVD drive.
To boot from DVD ROM please go to CMOS set-up. To go to CMOS set-up re-start your computer and press “DEL” key or appropriate key as shown on your screen.
After you enter in CMOS set-up; go to Advance Tab or BOOT option to select first boot device.
Once you are in to the menu select First Boot Device by pressing ENTER key or “+/- “key. Select DVD ROM as first boot device and press F10 to exit and save changes you have made.
Step 2: Prepare Windows 8 DVD

Turn on your computer. Insert the Windows 8 Installation Disc into the internal / external DVD drive device.
System will prompt for “Press any key to boot from CD or DVD”; press ENTER to boot from DVD of Windows 8.
During the Windows 8 installation, your Hard Drive Disc will be formatted and all the data will be lost. Please backup your data before installation
You will see Windows 8 splash screen loading…
You will see the Windows 8 Installation page. Follow the instruction by your own reference.
Click Install Now to continue…
Check “I accept the license terms” and click “next”.
Since this is a clean installation, please select “Custom” to continue.
If you need to create a new partition with specific size, you should click “New” and specify size of partition and click on Apply button. Otherwise, click “Next”.
After you click Next button system will prompt for system partition and Windows will arrange a space of 350MB for system files. Click “OK” to proceed.
In this picture, the Disk 0 Partition 2 is a newly created partition. When we specified certain space during previous step, Windows will automatically assign 350MB to be reserved for system (and marked as Partition 1). Hence you will see the remaining space in Partition 2. You can repeat the partition creation for more partitions if you are using a Hard Disc Drive with fair large storage volume. When all partition process is done, choose your desired partition for Windows 8 installation, and click “Next”.
After Clicking Next button, Windows 8 will start copying necessary files to your Hard disk drive. Please do not touch key board or mouse and Do Not Power Off system during this system.
After copying files to your hard disk drive; system will re-start automatically. Please remove DVD from your drive after system reboot.
Step 4: Complete the Windows 8 Installation
Once your PC restart, your system is ready with Windows 8. Let system boot and you will see first screen after boot as follows. Enter System / Computer name as you wish to and Click Next to continue.
Next screen will display settings you wish to desire. Click on “Express Settings” to continue with Default settings or else you can customize settings if you are advance user.
To sign into windows use your Windows Live ID or email address you wish to associate with windows 8. If you do not have Windows account and wish to opt kindly create one by clicking “Sign up for New email address” or if you wish to go-ahead without Windows Live ID click on “Sign in without Microsoft account”
Next screen is your Desktop which will look like
